...Why...Big Close Up - Demonstrates in greater detail a character and their actions.
Relating back to Belles illness and short life...
This Big Close up shot shows the pain both Belle and Adien feel as they spend their last days together. The shot shows great emotion and is able to trick the audience into feeling the same emotions as them.

In the Thursday week 3 lecture we spoke about the
...180 degree rule...
The green and red arrowed lines show the angles at which the camera can take footage of two subjects in a conversation. Once the camera passes the dashed line, the subjects switch places on screen.
...RULE OF THIRDS...
...RULE OF THIRDS...
The basic principle behind the rule of thirds is to imagine breaking an image down into thirds (horizontally and vertically) so that you have 9 parts.
The ‘rule of thirds’ identifies four important parts of the image that you should consider placing points of interest in as you frame your image.
The theory is that if you place points of interest in the intersections or along the lines that your photo becomes more balanced and will enable a viewer of the image to interact with it more naturally.
